What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
- Serve as the primary interface for assigned customers and develop/maintain customer relationships.
- Negotiate customer orders within predetermined guidelines and budget expectations.
- Inside sales representative for promoting products and services.
- Prepare offer-to-sell/quotes for materials and services and submit to customers.
- Review/approve customer purchase orders including pricing, terms and conditions, freight and payment terms.
- Initiate and coordinate workflow reviews through Engineering, Quality Assurance and Shipping personnel, as necessary.
- Monitor and manage the on-time completion of multiple customer orders.
- Complete order entry using SAP to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Prepare all shipping documentation including QA Data Packages to meet customer PO requirements.
- Coordinate with Business Managers and other personnel to resolve customer issues.
- Support manager with mentoring and training of other contract administrators.
- Lead major contractual topics with full autonomy.
- Take ownership of contract strategy and risk management.
- Drive negotiations with EPC contractors at a senior level.
- Build, quantify, and defend high value claims.
- Protect the company during complex project execution phases.
- Navigate disputes and pre contentious situations in high-pressure environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Expert knowledge of contract lifecycle management, including proposal, negotiation, and execution, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage a project from beginning to end.
- Ability to ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines while managing multiple contracts and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
- Knowledge of the SAP application tool.
- Salary: $94,000 - $127,000 , and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
