Senior Software Engineer – Internal Developer Tooling

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing AI company that's reshaping how the world's leading retailers make decisions — think real-time AI powering demand forecasting, pricing, and inventory at enterprise scale. Their tech is live, their clients are global, and their engineering team is growing fast.

Now they need someone to build the platform that makes all of it possible. That's you.

What you'll own

This isn't a "maintain the Jenkins pipeline" kind of role. You'll have real ownership:

• Build internal CLI tools, SDKs, and libraries that engineers actually love using
• Design and own CI/CD frameworks that make deployments boring in the best way possible
• Build AI-powered tooling — MCPs, coding assistants, agent workflows — that puts cutting-edge AI in your colleagues' hands
• Dig into Azure Databricks, Airflow, and Spark to support data platform teams
• Spot the friction. Build the fix. Ship it. Own it.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar across the whole org

What you bring

• 4–6 years of software engineering experience
• Python mastery — and we mean it. FastAPI, Django, PySpark level. Not bash scripts with a .py extension
• Real hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Strong CI/CD background — GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Some exposure to AI tooling — MCPs, LLMs, agent workflows. Junior level is totally fine
• Databricks, Airflow, or Dagster is a big plus
• Based in Romania and eligible to work locally
