- Lead and maintain Food Safety and Quality Management Systems to support compliance and operational excellence.
- Manage internal audit programs, including risk-based audit planning, execution, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
- Serve as the primary contact for certification bodies, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Oversee document control processes to ensure quality documents, procedures, and records remain accurate, current, and compliant.
- Administer the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program, including root cause investigations and long-term effectiveness monitoring.
- Lead customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions using data-driven problem-solving methods.
- Coordinate Management Review activities, quality performance reporting, and key quality system metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, risk assessments, supplier quality activities, and cross-functional quality programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Food Safety, or regulatory compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading audits, corrective action programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Abilities: Strong collaborator and communicator that is comfortable working with all levels and across all departments within the organization
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety regulations, quality management systems, and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Experience conducting internal, external, supplier, and certification audits.
- Proficiency with root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action processes.
- Ability to analyze quality and operational data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing document control systems and regulatory records.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, compliance, and a culture of quality and food safety.
