Position Overview
The Technical Product Manager Intern will focus on Solver Interfaces workflows for Simcenter HyperMesh. This role will support enhancements to Solver Interfaces capabilities for Siemens-owned solvers, including Simcenter OptiStruct, Simcenter Radioss, and Simcenter Nastran, as well as third-party solvers such as Abaqus, Ansys, LS-DYNA, and others. Responsibilities will include introducing solver keywords, whether already available or newly added by commercial solvers, and ensuring they are properly supported in the Simcenter HyperMesh pre-processing environment. The intern will also help define specifications for new functionality and workflows, either for specific solvers or across multiple simulation codes, and will support projects from initial concept through official release. This work will include testing, documentation, customer interactions, and training.
What You Will Be Doing
- Introduce new workflows and capabilities that enhance Simcenter HyperMesh Solver Interfaces including keyword coverage, visualization tools, model checkers, etc. helping deliver best-in-class functionality.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and other Product Managers to ideate and create specifications that define relevant engineering use cases.
- Actively participate in regular meetings with co-workers, sales teams, and customers around the world.
- Prepare documents to be shared with the documentation and marketing team.
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with any commercial FEA solver simulation systems.
- Experience with Product Design including model setup and results interpretation. Examples include meshing, loads/boundary conditions application, loadcase setup, and results animation and plotting.
- Strong Communication skills.
