About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications using modern Java technologies and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications.
• Build scalable and resilient microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Create responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical design reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and release pipelines.
• Utilize AWS cloud services to build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, or similar.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Front-end development experience using Angular.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Cloud certifications or Java certifications are a plus.
