Senior Network Engineer

This role focuses on the design, deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of large-scale data center networks, including modern Spine-Leaf VXLAN EVPN fabrics, campus networking, WAN connectivity, and cloud integration.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, and is comfortable working onsite to support critical infrastructure, deployments, escalations, and operational incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support next-generation VXLAN EVPN Spine-Leaf data center fabrics.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and static routing.
- Support data center switching platforms and network infrastructure including Arista, Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, Aruba, and related technologies.
- Perform onsite troubleshooting of network, server, and application connectivity issues.
- Lead network upgrades, hardware refreshes, migrations, and expansion projects.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
- Analyze packet captures, routing tables, control-plane information, and network telemetry to identify root causes of issues.
- Support and troubleshoot WAN, SD-WAN, internet, cloud, and inter-data center connectivity.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and operational reviews.
- Collaborate with data center operations teams, server teams, cloud teams, and external vendors.
- Utilize monitoring and analytics platforms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities as required.
- Contribute to network automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of enterprise or data center network engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with: VXLAN EVPN Data Center Fabrics, Spine-Leaf architectures, BGP and OSPF, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, High-availability and resilient network design.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production network environments.
- Strong understanding of: Routing and switching, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, NTP, Network monitoring and telemetry.
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite and perform physical troubleshooting within the data center environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with: Arista EOS and CloudVision, Cisco Nexus and ACI, Aruba campus and wireless technologies, SD-WAN platforms, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, Network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Industry certifications such as:
- CCNP or CCIE
- Arista ACE
- JNCIP/JNCIE
- AWS or Azure Networking certifications
