As a Data Engineer (Azure & ETL), you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing complex data transformation and process flows within cloud-centric environments. The position is integral to the company’s mission of leveraging advanced data technologies to drive business insights and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions on Azure, ensuring high performance and reliability across data management systems.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement advanced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Python/PySpark frameworks and libraries.
• Develop and optimize data workflows and processes across Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
• Write, review, and enhance SQL queries for robust data integration and transformation.
• Analyze and interpret database execution plans to ensure efficient data processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Oversee configuration management, continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud implementations on Azure DevOps.
• Ensure seamless data storage, processing, and visualization by understanding underlying systems.
• Maintain and improve data quality, security, and governance throughout project lifecycles.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Python and PySpark frameworks/libraries.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex ETL and data transformation frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of cloud architecture, especially Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD and configuration management.
• Azure certification (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
