Medior Data Engineer EVIV002519

We are looking for a Medior Data Engineer to develop and maintain scalable data solutions supporting AI and analytics projects. You will build reliable data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and contribute to the development of a modern data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build data flows using Python, Java, or Scala.
• Work with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, and data lake technologies.
• Connect databases, APIs, and other data sources to the AI & Analytics platform.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and optimize data processing solutions using standardized components.
• Contribute to DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Work collaboratively in Agile, multidisciplinary teams to validate new data and AI technologies.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Databricks and ETL development.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with databases and data integration.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake or Delta Lake.
• Experience with dbt and Databricks-based ETL tools.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating external data sources.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi is an advantage.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Dutch: CEFR C2/native-level proficiency.
