Senior Solution Data Architect (for our client)

We're looking for a Senior Data Solution Architect who combines strong technical expertise with architectural vision and enjoys bridging the gap between business challenges and innovative technology.

In this role, you'll help organisations design future-proof data platforms, guide architectural decisions and create solutions that deliver real business value.

What you'll do

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Define solution architectures, design principles and technical approaches.
• Drive architectural decisions around scalability, performance, security and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex challenges.
• Support governance, documentation and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Identify opportunities to leverage modern platforms and reusable solutions.

What you'll bring

• Experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture or a similar senior technical role.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data technologies.
• Knowledge of architecture principles, governance and software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with architecture modelling frameworks such as ArchiMate is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect technical and business perspectives.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
