About the Role
We are looking for a service-minded, detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to manage and strengthen an assigned book of personal insurance clients. You will be a trusted day-to-day contact for service, renewals, policy changes, billing questions, and carrier coordination.
This role is especially well suited for someone who enjoys complex personal lines accounts and high-net-worth client relationships. Lathrop works with the full high-net-worth carrier marketplace available in New England, giving our team strong resources to serve clients with unique homes, assets, and lifestyles. We also utilize the latest technology and are always growing to make our work more impactful.
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary contact for an assigned book of personal lines clients.
Support renewals, account reviews, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and documentation updates.
Respond to coverage, billing, policy change, and renewal questions with urgency and accuracy.
Partner with carriers, producers, underwriters, mortgage contacts, and teammates to resolve client needs.
Maintain accurate client information in the agency management system and follow internal procedures.
Identify appropriate opportunities to round out coverage or recommend additional personal insurance solutions.
What We Are Looking For
Active Property & Casualty license required.
Personal lines insurance experience, ideally in an independent agency environment.
Working knowledge of personal lines coverages.
Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
A consultative, client-first mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system is helpful.
High-net-worth, coastal, secondary home, valuable collections, and/or multi-state account experience is a plus.
