About the role
- Lead, coach and develop a national oncology field team (existing team plus new hires) working the Neuro-Oncology and Gastrointestinal Oncology market
- Drive launch excellence for a first‑in‑class oncology therapy in a specialist disease area
- Set and deliver a clear national strategy, ensuring strong executional alignment
- Build field capability across hospital account strategy, patient pathways, and key opinion leader engagement
- Partner closely with medical, marketing and commercial teams to ensure integrated execution
- Maintain regular field time with each Key Account Manager
- Leverage market insights and existing relationships to maximise launch impact and ongoing growth
You will bring:
- Strong national oncology experience (neuro‑oncology experience welcome but not essential)
- Degree qualification in science, pharmacy or healthcare
- Significant experience from within the pharmaceutical industry, at a specialty care leadership level
- Deep understanding of hospital systems and patient pathways within the Oncology landscape
- Proven success in leading, coaching and developing high‑performing teams
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism aligned with highly sensitive oncology therapeutic areas
- Ability to contribute existing relationships and market intelligence
- Comfort with a high‑travel, field‑focused leadership role
