About the role


  • Lead, coach and develop a national oncology field team (existing team plus new hires) working the Neuro-Oncology and Gastrointestinal Oncology market
  • Drive launch excellence for a first‑in‑class oncology therapy in a specialist disease area
  • Set and deliver a clear national strategy, ensuring strong executional alignment
  • Build field capability across hospital account strategy, patient pathways, and key opinion leader engagement
  • Partner closely with medical, marketing and commercial teams to ensure integrated execution
  • Maintain regular field time with each Key Account Manager
  • Leverage market insights and existing relationships to maximise launch impact and ongoing growth


You will bring:


  • Strong national oncology experience (neuro‑oncology experience welcome but not essential)
  • Degree qualification in science, pharmacy or healthcare
  • Significant experience from within the pharmaceutical industry, at a specialty care leadership level
  • Deep understanding of hospital systems and patient pathways within the Oncology landscape
  • Proven success in leading, coaching and developing high‑performing teams
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism aligned with highly sensitive oncology therapeutic areas
  • Ability to contribute existing relationships and market intelligence
  • Comfort with a high‑travel, field‑focused leadership role
