Maintenance Planner - SAP / S4HANA

Location: Sabine Pass, TX / Beaumont, TX

Pay: $65.00 – $75.00/hr. W2, depending on experience

Contract: 18 Months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to support maintenance planning and scheduling for an energy/LNG facility. This is primarily a desk-based position with limited field work. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP/S4HANA experience and 5+ years of maintenance planning experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, LNG, or Petrochemical industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule maintenance work and reliability activities.
• Create and maintain maintenance, project, and outage plans.
• Prepare job packages with all required work information.
• Coordinate work orders and schedules with Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance schedules.
• Track work progress, backlog, costs, and schedule compliance.
• Support CMMS/SAP maintenance activities.
• Identify material requirements and coordinate with vendors and Supply Chain.
• Prepare maintenance reports, KPIs, and schedule performance updates.
• Assist with procedures, training, and budget planning.
• Support planning for mechanical work such as welding, fabrication, machining, rigging, scaffolding, painting, and insulation.

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; technical degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or similar facilities.
• Strong SAP experience; SAP S/4HANA experience required.
• Prometheus experience required.
• Strong maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Experience planning small to medium-sized projects.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• PHMSA-regulated pipeline experience is preferred.
• Gas compression and metering equipment experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have a valid TWIC card at the time of submission.
• Must be willing to travel between the Sabine Pass terminal and Beaumont office as needed.
