Azure Data Architect

IDR is seeking a Azure Data Architect to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced data architecture professional within the healthcare industry, focusing on designing and evaluating modern data solutions across cloud platforms. The position offers a chance to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic analytics environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and effective data architectures.

Position Overview for the Azure Data Architect:

• Design, evaluate, and guide modern data architecture within a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and analytics teams to develop high-quality data solutions.
• Provide architectural direction across the Azure data ecosystem, ensuring scalability and security.
• Develop and review data models, pipelines, and technical standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, data quality, and optimize cloud costs.

Requirements for the Azure Data Architect:

• 6–9 years of relevant data architecture / engineering experience.
• Strong Azure Data Architecture experience.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Data Modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and experience designing end-to-end data solutions.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate architectural patterns and technologies.
