The Data Analytics Auditor collaborates with the Internal Audit team to identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytical models, simulations, and artificial intelligence (AI) to evaluate the effectiveness of different courses of action. By employing programming, statistical analysis, and expertise in handling large datasets, this role contributes to identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities across the organization. This position plays a key role in developing assurance work that ensures the Audit function aligns with business objectives and stakeholders' expectations, continuously generating value for the organization as a whole.


Key Responsabilities

  • Collect, cleanse, and preprocess large datasets, ensuring their readiness for analysis and use in predictive and prescriptive models.
  • Develop analytical projects with the objective of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions and supporting the decision making of the auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor machine learning models and AI-driven solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Look for order and patterns in the data, as well as detect trends that can help a company's profitability.
  • Create intuitive dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to facilitate decision-making.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor results.
  • Effectively present the results of the analysis to multiple audiences.
  • Provide assistance for support tickets.
  • Use predictive models to increase and optimize revenue generation and other business results.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Train other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge with current tools and processes.


Requirements

  • Degree: Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Actuary, Physics, Engineering.
  • Desired Certifications: Power BI, Databricks, Agile/ Scrum, Certified Data Scientist
  • Advanced English level
  • +3 years of related experience
  • Flexibility to travel 50% of the time
