The Reports Analyst plays a significant role in preparing media coverage analysis reports for our clients – including gathering requirements, conceptualizing, implementing, reviewing, and delivering the final product.


The successful candidate will have strong written communication skills, a working understanding of the PR industry, and an aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and an inquisitive and analytical mind. A passion for news, social media, and digital analytics will also help.

This role requires collaboration with a variety of departments and team members, both locally and overseas. This full‐time position would be ideal for a well‐rounded and experienced candidate who loves digging into data and using words and visuals to tell the story behind the numbers.


Key Responsibilities:

· Develop proficiency on various platforms to monitor and analyze relevant media coverage, including print, online, broadcast, blogs, and social media

· Leverage the appropriate data sources, tools, and analytical rigor to create executive-ready reports for our clients, including intuitive data visualizations and clear, insightful written analysis

· Analyze raw data across all sources and identify trends, important statistics, etc., based on directives for each report in both qualitative and quantitative formats

· Gather report requirements and conceptualize metrics that best meet the clients’ reporting objectives

· Present written analysis clearly and succinctly, with good command of the English language and grammar

· Collaborate with team members in Canada to understand the specifics of the client accounts, especially their relevant content and sentiment methodologies, to synchronize the analytical reports with these objectives

· Ensure data is clean and accurate at all times by removing any irrelevant content or duplicate coverage


Job Requirements

  • Completed university degree in a related field (e.g., market research, quantitative research techniques, media, public relations, journalism, mathematics, statistics)
  • Open to new graduates; ideally with 1+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, market research, digital marketing, media monitoring, or a similar field
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Skilled at using and quickly learning new software
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly when managing tight deadlines and multiple competing priorities
  • Capable of working independently
  • Can start ASAP
