Summary:

As a Data Engineer, your typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support data generation, collection, and processing activities. You will work on creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data, and implementing processes to migrate and deploy data seamlessly across various systems. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data infrastructure is an integral part of your daily responsibilities.

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.

Monitor and optimize data workflows to improve performance and reliability.

Document data processes and maintain clear communication channels within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and design principles.

Experience with data integration and transformation techniques.

Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently.

Proficient in scripting and automation to streamline data workflows.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

This position is based at our Cebu office.
