We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll design, build and ship machine learning models that solve real commercial problems and help shape the future of our customer, owner and commercial experiences.

  • πŸ“ Chester HQ (Hybrid Working)
  • πŸ’· Up to Β£70,000 per annum
  • ⏰ 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm
  • πŸ‘€ Reporting to our Head of Data Science
  • πŸ‘₯ Part of our Data Science team


What you’ll be doing:

  • πŸ€– Design, build and ship ML models that solve real business problems
  • πŸ“Š Work across areas including pricing, personalisation, forecasting and customer experience
  • πŸ’‘ Turn complex business challenges into practical, commercially valuable solutions
  • πŸš€ Take projects from problem framing and exploration through to production
  • πŸ”§ Build and maintain reliable models using modern MLOps practices
  • 🀝 Partner with product, commercial and engineering teams
  • 🌱 Mentor other Data Scientists and help raise the technical bar across the team


What you’ll bring:

  • βœ” Strong hands-on Data Science & ML experience
  • βœ” Advanced Python and SQL, with pandas, scikit-learn and XGBoost/LightGBM
  • βœ” Experience across areas such as forecasting, segmentation, recommendations, ranking or behavioural modelling
  • βœ” Proven experience taking ML projects into production
  • βœ” Strong commercial thinking and communication skills
  • βœ” Experience with model monitoring, retraining and MLOps

Experience in travel, hospitality, marketplaces or consumer platforms is a bonus, as is experience with LLMs, GenAI, Azure ML or Microsoft Fabric.
