Senior Product Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for an Analytics Product Engineer who loves solving complex business problems with data.

This is not a traditional BI, reporting, or dashboarding role. We're seeking someone who can take an abstract business question, identify the right data, develop meaningful metrics, and turn those insights into products that customers rely on to make decisions.

You'll work at the intersection of analytics, product, and engineering, partnering closely with our Product, Data, and Software Engineering teams to build solutions that help healthcare organizations better understand physician compensation, productivity, and performance.

Reporting through our Product organization, you'll collaborate directly with our Chief Product Officer, analytics leaders, and software developers to bring data-driven products to life.

What You'll Do

• Translate complex business questions into scalable analytics solutions
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Design and develop data models, metrics, and business logic
• Build and maintain data products using SQL, Snowflake, and modern analytics tools
• Partner closely with software engineers to bring insights into customer-facing applications
• Prototype and validate new product ideas using data
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
• Help shape how analytics is delivered as a product, not just as reports

What We're Looking For

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex, efficient queries
• Experience working with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms
• Experience building analytics solutions that drive business decisions
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into logical, actionable components
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of data modeling, metrics development, and analytical frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt
• Experience working alongside software engineering teams
• Exposure to modern web technologies such as React
• Healthcare analytics experience
• Product-focused mindset with experience developing customer-facing solutions
