Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production Android applications using Kotlin.
• Proven track record at a product-based company (ideally in consumer or fintech sectors), owning features from initial concept through to release.
• Deep knowledge of Android fundamentals, including Jetpack Compose, Views, Kotlin Coroutines, and Flow.
• Strong expertise in memory and performance profiling, as well as managing the Play Store release process.
• Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for daily async collaboration in a global team.

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to help build and scale a global financial application that users trust with their cross-border income. You will own features end to end, obsess over the details, and ship high-quality code in Kotlin. This role is designed for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing polished, intuitive experiences to life. In this role, you will take complete ownership of your work, from architecture and implementation to testing and production monitoring. You will partner closely with product and design teams to translate ambiguous problems into seamless user experiences, while raising the bar for performance and craftsmanship across the entire codebase. As a senior member of a distributed, global team, you will collaborate asynchronously and mentor other engineers. Your contributions will directly shape the technical direction of the mobile platform as it scales to support users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality features in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose and Views.
• Own features end to end, including architecture, implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
• Partner closely with product and design teams to turn ambiguous problems into polished, intuitive mobile experiences.
• Raise the bar on code quality, performance, and craftsmanship across the Android codebase.
