Data Scientist - Transformation Analytics

Role Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented Data Scientist to support enterprise transformation initiatives by converting complex operational, program, and Agile delivery data into actionable insights. The role will leverage Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, SQL, and statistical analysis techniques to develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytical models that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

Scope Of Work & Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for leadership and business stakeholders.
• Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure controlled data access based on user roles, departments, regions, or business functions.
• Analyze transformation, operational, and Agile delivery metrics to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Apply statistical techniques and analytical methodologies to measure impact and support evidence-based decision making.
• Translate survey results, stakeholder feedback, and operational metrics into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Ensure consistency, quality, accuracy, and usability of enterprise data across transformation initiatives.
• Develop compelling visualizations, executive summaries, and analytical reports tailored to technical and business audiences.
• Support data ingestion, preparation, modeling, and reporting activities using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Collaborate with product owners, Agile teams, business stakeholders, and transformation leaders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and automation techniques to improve reporting efficiency and analytical workflows.
• Leverage collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Mural to support distributed teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and backlog refinement activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence reporting.
• Proficiency in Power BI including dashboard development, data visualization, DAX, and report optimization.
• Experience implementing and managing Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI datasets and semantic models.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data analysis and reporting automation.
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or modern cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Ability to convert complex data, metrics, and qualitative feedback into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of KPI measurement, analytics frameworks, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Preferred Skills

• SAFe Agile certification or experience working within SAFe environments.
• Experience analyzing Agile delivery metrics, transformation initiatives, or organizational performance indicators.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Data Engineering, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience applying AI and automation tools to reporting, analytics, and business process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of change management, organizational transformation, or digital modernization programs.
