Under the supervision of Drs. Kaylin Hill and Elizabeth Shewark, the person in this position will have a vital role in a major collaborative research project. The research aims to better understand associations between neighborhood conditions and neural function in caregivers and young children. Responsibilities include recruitment of families, scheduling and running study sessions with research participants, ensuring completion of a broad range of questionnaires and assessments, and leading a coding team based on precise coding protocols for assessing neighborhood conditions via virtual audit methods. The person in this position will supervise a team of student research assistants on coding neighborhood conditions. There may be opportunity to learn EEG data collection, based on trainee interest. Characteristics supportive of success in this position include attention to detail, accountability, communication, engagement, and professionalism.

Qualifications

This is a post baccalaureate / pre-doctoral training position, where the PIs will support the trainee in learning research skills and future graduate school applications. This position will be for one-year with the option to renew for another year.
