Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Lead a team of developers within agile Scrum teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Promote technical excellence and collaboration within and between teams through coaching and mentoring.

• Partner closely with Product Owners to prioritize requirements and ensure their successful implementation.

• Guide the team through the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to development, testing, and operations.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and shape the technical strategy to create effective, sustainable solutions.

• Manage personnel processes including recruitment, feedback, and career development for team members.

What You'll Need

• Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, with initial leadership experience in software development.

• Solid understanding of modern programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL) and agile methodologies.

• Analytical approach to effectively solve technical challenges and communicate complex concepts clearly.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with fluency in both German and English.
