Role Description

Role Summary

Lead data strategy and transformation programs for Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) clients. Partner with CXOs to modernize customer analytics, supply chain intelligence, personalization, and enterprise data platforms.

• Design data operating models and monetization strategies across omnichannel and direct-to-consumer environments.
• Shape enterprise data architecture around measurable business outcomes, including merchandising intelligence, demand sensing, and customer loyalty.

Experience Profile

• 20+ years of total experience in Retail, CPG, or related consulting domains.
• 10+ years of experience in data strategy, advisory, or management consulting.
• Strong grounding in business, systems, and data architecture.
• Proven leadership of large-scale Retail or CPG transformation programs with a scope of at least $10 million.
• Deep expertise in customer analytics, personalization, supply chain, and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead CXO-level advisory engagements to define data strategies and transformation roadmaps.
• Design and implement enterprise data operating models for Retail and CPG clients.
• Align business, systems, and data architecture to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Shape deals and proposals through C-suite engagement and business-case development.
• Build and manage client relationships at the VP and CXO levels.

Success Metrics

• Pipeline creation: Generate $15 million annually through advisory-led engagements.
• CXO relationship depth: Maintain active access to Chief Data Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and supply chain leadership stakeholders.
• Client outcomes: Deliver measurable revenue growth, margin improvement, or supply chain efficiency.

Variable Compensation: This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
