We would like to meet a Cloud Financial Management | FinOps Specialist for an international project based in Porto.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze and monitor cloud and AI service spending across different products and services.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze cloud spending in the context of business value, product outcomes, and operational needs.
• Monitor daily cloud costs and spending trends.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly cost reports.
• Ensure transparency and visibility of cloud costs through reporting, showback, and cost attribution.
• Develop and implement hands-on cloud cost and resource optimization initiatives.
• Work on rightsizing, waste management, rate optimization, discounts, and Savings Plans.
• Track the progress and success of cost optimization initiatives.
• Support operational and product development teams in implementing Cloud Financial Management controls and guardrails.
• Collaborate on FinOps and DevFinOps practices across cloud environments.
• Conduct business analysis to identify cloud cost drivers, trends, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop financial models for cost forecasting and projections.
• Perform scenario analysis and support the evaluation of the ROI of cloud initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, finance, infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams.
• Improve tools and processes and support the integration of financial and technical data flows.
• Contribute to the implementation of Policy-as-Code and FinOps practices within delivery pipelines.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to technical, financial, operational, and management stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional experience in Cloud Financial Management, FinOps, DevFinOps, Cloud Cost Optimization, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services cost management and optimization.
• Experience with cloud pricing models, discounts, and cost optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of FinOps principles and methodologies.
• Experience with cost attribution, cost showback, forecasting, and amortization.
• Experience identifying cloud cost drivers and optimization opportunities.
• Knowledge of rightsizing and cloud resource optimization.
• Experience with cloud financial reporting and monitoring.
• Experience developing financial models and cost projections.
• Knowledge of ROI analysis and scenario modelling.
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Savings Plans and rate optimization.
• Experience integrating FinOps practices into engineering and delivery processes.
• Familiarity with DevFinOps and Policy-as-Code concepts.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to different stakeholders.
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic and distributed environments.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
