Description
- Develop project management strategies and work with discipline leaders to execute plans
- Act as project lead and coordinate project activities ensuring work is progressing as planned and project deliverable dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed.
- Plan and prioritize deliverables and resources based on scope of work and project goals. Monitor project risks and identify potential problems, proactively identify solutions.
- Document and communicate project status and strategic recommendations, escalate issues accordingly, identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present both written and oral reports regarding the status of projects, variances, benefit realization metrics, project budget analysis and status of projects.
- Engage in conversations with stakeholders using appropriate communication methods to achieve desired results. Promote positive communications between all entities.
- Use analytical skills and judgement to solve problems with limited information. Query internal and external databases; interpret and analyze data.
- Perform strong risk analytics and risk mitigation strategies, recommending alternatives.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the operational and strategic importance of work to align with system-wide intiatives.
- Compiles accurate data and prepares forecast and other trend analysis in collaboration with finance. Identifies, analyzes and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth and productivity.
