Bioinformatician (f/m/d)
Indexed description
The research group of Prof. Karina Yaniv at the Helmholtz Institute for Translational AngioCardioScience (HI-TAC) is looking for a motivated and team-oriented Bioinformatician (f/m/d) to join its growing interdisciplinary research team. As a newly established laboratory, we offer a unique opportunity to actively contribute to shaping an ambitious research program from the outset. In a dynamic and international environment, bioinformaticians and experimental researchers work closely together to address key questions in vascular biology and develop novel therapeutic approaches. Our research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying blood and lymphatic vessel development, tissue regeneration, and vascular diseases. To address these questions, we combine state-of-the-art approaches, including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, epigenomics, imaging, functional genetics, and computational biology.
As a Bioinformatician (f/m/d), you will work closely with experimental researchers and contribute to projects throughout the entire research process—from study design and data processing to statistical analysis and biological interpretation. By delivering high-quality, reproducible analyses, you will play an important role in generating new biological insights and advancing collaborative research projects.
