Financial Healthcare Operations Analyst - Lafayette, LA

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for supporting their respective business leader as it relates to budgeting, analysis of operating and financial results, and financial education for the field teams they support. The analyst proactively identifies opportunities for improvements in both the sales and operational sectors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Works with Division Vice Presidents and their management teams to regularly measure and improve performance
- Serves as professional support for all aspects of the business for each DVP
- Assists with analysis of financial results based on current metrics and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Maintains excellent communication with all departments
- Guides analysts on preparation of variance analysis and assists in communicating results
- Reviews weekly projections and provides feedback as needed prior to the release
- Actively participates in the annual budget process for all service lines
- Actively participates in divisional MOR calls as needed
- Works with the Acquisition team regarding budgets for new locations
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
- Proficient user of finance software
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- CFA/CPA Certification
