Junior Data Scientist

Mandate of the role

Strengthen business performance by transforming data and insights into measurable business growth through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and data-driven personalization that enable proactive decision-making and enhance business performance across the company.

Role responsibilitie

• Develop and optimize predictive models to quantify the impact of merchandising, supply chain, customer, loyalty, and omnichannel marketing initiatives
• Translate advanced modeling and ML outputs into actionable insights that guide business decisions and strategies
• Build and operationalize Python/R models and simulations that support scenario planning, optimization, and strategic decisions
• Ensure data quality and pipeline integrity across business domains and deliver data-driven recommendations
• Collaborate with business teams to design personalized targeting, segmentation, and experimentation

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning
• Experience coding in Python or R, with familiarity in version control
• Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with PySpark, with exposure to cloud environments like Azure
• Advanced English Proficiency (C1)
• Solid data storytelling and communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Knowledge of customer analytics, loyalty programs, and marketing measurement
