Data Scientist

We're working with a global healthcare communications and technology business that is growing its Medical Analytics & Innovation team.

They are looking for a Data Scientist with strong experience across machine learning, NLP, generative AI and data engineering to help build real-world AI products within healthcare and life sciences

This role would suit someone who enjoys going beyond analysis — building scalable tools, models and workflows that have practical client impact.

You’ll be involved in:

• Delivering end-to-end data science projects
• Building and optimising ML, NLP and AI solutions
• Working with LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG, vector search and GenAI platforms
• Designing scalable data pipelines using structured and unstructured data
• Working with APIs, cloud platforms and modern data tools
• Creating reusable frameworks and analytical products

The ideal person will bring:

• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience in data science, ML, AI, NLP or similar
• A degree in Statistics, Physics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
• Experience deploying ML/NLP solutions into production
• Hands-on experience with LLMs/GenAI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Azure OpenAI
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences experience would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.
