We are looking for an experienced freelance Event Marketing Manager to cover a maternity leave at Flowable. This is a temporary contract role estimated at 6-10 months, with an expected start date between June and July 2025, starting with a handover period working alongside our current Event Manager before taking over independently.


You will be responsible for executing Flowable’s event strategy and supporting its development where needed, managing multiple events across Europe and North America. You are experienced in handling both onsite and online event setups, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Event strategy support: Execute Flowable’s global event strategy and provide occasional input and support to the strategy when needed, in alignment with key stakeholders (marketing, sales, product, leadership).
  • Event planning: Plan events across locations, outlining required resources, timelines and budgets.
  • Event execution: Oversee event setup and execution. Coordinate with all internal and external parties, liaising with different teams and agencies to successfully deliver events.
  • Partner events: Support the execution of events run in collaboration with Flowable’s partners, including co-hosted events, joint sponsorships, and partner-led activations. Partner events are led by the Partner Marketing Manager; this role provides event execution support to ensure alignment with Flowable’s brand and event goals.
  • Webinar strategy: Manage and execute Flowable’s webinar programme, including planning, coordination with speakers and internal teams, promotion, and post-event reporting.
  • Budget management: Manage the event budget end-to-end — tracking spend, flagging variances, and contributing to budget planning cycles in alignment with the VP Marketing
  • Marketing and promotion: Outline and coordinate all marketing activities and campaigns around events, supporting execution with the marketing team, operations, and/or agencies.
  • Post event activities: Measure event KPIs and success; prepare full reports on event outcomes.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years’ experience managing events, ideally in the B2B tech market.
  • Experience executing a global event strategy and supporting its development when needed.
  • Experience handling events end to end, including third-party conferences, self-hosted events, both online and onsite.
  • Excellent project management skills enabling you to coordinate accross multiple teams.
  • Solid knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with excellent organizational skills and hands-on attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills, any other European language is a plus.
