About Quadeye
Quadeye is an algorithmic trading firm operating across major financial markets and exchanges. We combine deep market insights, advanced mathematical models, and cutting-edge technology to build sophisticated, automated trading strategies across diverse asset classes.
Our flat, meritocratic culture gives engineers and researchers the freedom to take complete ownership, challenge conventional thinking, and directly contribute to trading performance. With world-class infrastructure, strong mentorship, and real-time feedback, our teams work on some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology, mathematics, machine learning, and quantitative finance.
About the Role
We are looking for a Quantitative Software Engineer with 1+ years of experience to work closely with our Quant, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Operations teams to solve complex problems and build scalable products and systems that support our trading ecosystem.
The role offers end-to-end ownership—from understanding a problem and evaluating potential approaches to designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring solutions in production.
You will be encouraged to think critically about technical trade-offs, challenge existing approaches, and build reliable, high-performance solutions that deliver measurable impact in a fast-paced trading environment.
What You'll Work On
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify, model, and predict market patterns.
- Develop novel approaches using existing and emerging ML techniques to build systems capable of generating trading signals around fundamental economic concepts.
- Contribute to a broad range of quantitative trading problems, including alpha generation, portfolio construction and optimization, and market regime identification.
- Design and run backtests to evaluate the effectiveness and robustness of trading models.
- Translate research prototypes and models into efficient, scalable, production-ready code.
- Monitor live strategies, investigate performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop new ideas to make predictions faster and more accurate.
- Build reusable infrastructure around successful prototypes to enable adoption across teams.
- Collaborate with Quant, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Take ownership of the complete development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production monitoring.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from a premier institute.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, quantitative development, machine learning, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving ability and quantitative aptitude.
- Excellent understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Strong programming skills in C++ or C, along with hands-on experience in Python and R.
- Good understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, and data-driven problem solving.
- Experience with ML libraries and frameworks is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and technologies is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
- Ability to translate complex problems into practical and scalable technical solutions.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
