Candidates should have an established research program, a compelling plan for future research, the ability to supervise both graduate and undergraduate research, and a record of excellence in teaching. A Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a closely related field is required. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package. The successful candidate will join a department of approximately 60 faculty and 85 graduate students pursuing research across a wide range of pure and applied areas ( https://math.ufl.edu/ ). The University of Florida is consistently ranked among the top public universities in the United States. The university and Gainesville community offer numerous cultural events and year-round outdoor activities.
The University has invested significantly in faculty hires and research infrastructure, including new classroom and laboratory facilities. UF is home to HiPerGator, one of the most powerful university supercomputers in the U.S. ( https://www.rc.ufl.edu/about/hipergator/ ). These resources are available to faculty across the university to support teaching and research.

The final candidate will be required to provide an official transcript to the hiring department upon hire.
