2021.AI seeks an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our highly-skilled team of Data Scientists, working at the forefront of solving business challenges using AI development, data engineering, GenAI etc.. In this role, you will participate in and lead data science projects and deliveries. In addition, you will assist in the future development of different AI / ML and technology services on our GRACE platform and guide customers on their journey to adapt GRACE with its open source components in their Data Science practice.

Your expertise is with data science and AI engineering, and related technologies such as LLMs, and you are passionate about delivering solutions all the way including the client engagement and needs analysis until the last hyper care and testing of the final solution.

You have experience in independently developing and delivering AI solutions, including LLMs that solve particular business challenges, including the process of preparing the setup for deployment and production.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist at 2021.AI, you will make your mark and directly influence the direction of data science in 2021.AI while delivering value with AI and ML to our partners and clients.

You will scope, run, and participate as a data science expert in client projects, work closely with senior business professionals and other teams in 2021.AI to improve our core product features, and demonstrate product value to clients on the GRACE Platform. You are responsible for reviewing and securing the quality of the projects before delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Run projects and implementation of AI for clients and partners
• Share knowledge and develop best practices within Data Science
• Educate client and teams about the usage of GRACE as Data Scientist
• Embed those actions and insights into integrations and solutions for our clients' businesses
• Ensure high project quality of our deliveries of AI solutions
• Bring business objectives to the center of the AI / ML development process

Skills and Qualifications:

• M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on, practical/industry project experience
• Solid experience in Python programming, combined with practical software development experience including tests and automation
• Knowledge of LLMs and evaluation approaches for such models
• Knowledge about database management and utilization of such in AI applications
• AI Engineering experience related to the implementation and deployment of AI into production via, e.g., FastAPI, Docker, Langchain, LiteLLM, OWUI etc.
• Knowledge in LLMs, including finetuning, RAG construction, and prompt engineering
• Experience in practical project execution and delivery to demanding businesses
• Fluent Danish, as several of our clients are public authorities.
• Fast learning and a proactive mindset
• Outgoing personality with excellent presentation skills, both toward business leaders and technical experts
• Exceptional human and collaboration skills
