Data Scientist

TCS is hiring Data Scientists for Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Indore and Ahmedabad locations

Desired relevant experience range: 7 to 12 years

Required Skill Set:

- 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in related roles.

- Deep understanding of, and exposure to, emerging GenAI open-source models.

- At least 5 years of Python (or equivalent) programming experience, with a focus on ML/NLP models.

- Experience in developing supervised and unsupervised ML/NLP models, including:

- Data cleaning and preparation

- Data analytics

- Feature engineering

- Model selection

- Ensemble methods

- Performance evaluation and metrics

- Data visualization

- Experience working with ML/NLP development pipelines for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale ML/NLP solutions in one or more of the following areas:

- Named Entity Recognition (NER)

- Document Classification

- Document Summarization

- Topic Modeling

- Dialog Systems

- Sentiment Analysis

- OCR Text Processing

- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with OCR products.
