Role: Data Migration Specialist-ETL & ERP

Location: Lund, Sweden

Work Setting: Hybrid (2-3 days from the office)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement an efficient and replicable data migration strategy and plan.
• Oversee data migration planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate with various projects and central data management teams to define data migration requirements, mapping, and cleansing.
• Establish and maintain long-term Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities at rollout sites.
• Ensure adherence to data principles and guidelines in partnership with the data governance team.

TASKS:

• Manage data extraction processes from respective legacy systems.
• Support database extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure successful implementation.
• Track key metrics on migration progress across the project portfolio.
• Identify and address issues or risks affecting timeline and data integrity accuracy.
• Maintain oversight of data flows and dependencies to support delivery and change management.
• Support the development and maintenance of an enterprise's data dictionary.
• Collaboration on lead file management, masking strategies, reusable testable repositories.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in leading data migration activities for complex IT projects, particularly ERP implementations.
• Experience with Microsoft O365 projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of master data management, governance, validation techniques.
• Proficient in ETL processes.
