JOB DESCRIPTION

A Senior AI Engineer is a technical expert who designs, develops, and implements artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to solve complex business problems, playing a key role in driving innovation and leveraging AI to enhance products, services, and overall business performance by utilizing their deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong problem-solving skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate cutting-edge technologies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy NLP and computer vision models and algorithms.
• Analyze large datasets of text, images, and videos to extract insights and inform model development.
• Apply deep learning techniques for tasks like document understanding, document classification, text classification, text summarization, and sentiment analysis.
• Integrate AI models and systems into existing business processes and IT infrastructure.
• Lead AI projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Implement scalable and efficient AI solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest AI trends, conduct research, and explore new applications for AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand requirements and deliver effective AI solutions.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of AI models and systems through rigorous testing and validation.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance and applicability of different AI models and techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in applying AI and machine learning to real-world problems.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or R.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI models.
• Experience with MLOps practices for model development and deployment.
• Experience with building and managing data pipelines.
