This is a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity within our Personal Banking Product & Pricing team. Te Tūranga | The role

As Pricing Manager, you'll join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment and be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies and pricing architecture across ASB's Personal Banking products. Working closely with Pricing Strategy Managers, modelling teams, and business stakeholders, you'll use data, analytics, and insights to optimise pricing performance, support strategic growth ambitions, and deliver better customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading the development and execution of pricing initiatives across Personal Banking product lines.
  • Using data, analytics, forecasting, and modelling to support pricing recommendations and business decisions.
  • Designing and enhancing pricing analytics, reporting, and experimentation frameworks to inform pricing strategies.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial outcomes and pricing architecture projects.
  • Monitoring results, tracking benefits realisation, and refining pricing models and approaches over time.
  • Preparing and presenting pricing insights and recommendations to senior leaders.

Ideally, You'll Bring

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience using data to identify opportunities, generate insights, and support decision-making.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for different audiences.
  • Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a passion for driving better business and customer outcomes.
  • Knowledge of personal banking products would be highly advantageous.
