Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute analyses, predictive models and reporting solutions to identify insights that can be incorporated into strategic recommendations for improving member care and to drive STARS quality measure performance
- Analyze healthcare data to identify trends impacting Star Ratings performance
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, product, actuarial, IT)
- Work with large and complex datasets for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Present results and recommendations to business partners
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience with Python, SAS, or R
- 4+ years of experience manipulating data and extracting insights from information across multiple platforms
- 3+ years of experience working in a cloud-based database environment including Snowflake or equivalent technologies
- Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and gap closure strategies
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Medicare Advantage / Star Ratings analytics
- Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed data environments (e.g., Spark)
- Experience using AI tools to increase productivity in areas such as data exploration, code development and analytical solution delivery. Strong understanding of responsible AI practices such as model validation and explainability
