Senior SAP Datasphere Consultant

We are looking for a Senior SAP Datasphere Consultant to support data-driven decision-making by designing, modeling, and visualizing data across multiple platforms. The role involves working with SAP BI tools, integrating data from various sources, and contributing to modern data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models in SAP Datasphere, including both graphical and SQL-based views
• Build interactive dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Collect and integrate data from multiple external sources via APIs, handling various authentication methods (e.g., Bearer tokens, OIDC certificates)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization across reporting solutions
• Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks for advanced data engineering and analytics use cases
• Develop scripts and automation using Python for data processing and integration in Databricks environment
• Use version control and collaborate on code and assets via GitHub

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data modeling and reporting
• Hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Background in working with APIs and authentication mechanisms (Bearer token, OIDC, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitHub)
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Exposure to Databricks or similar data platforms
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Capability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills for working with business and technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with REST API
• Knowledge of SAP HANA
• Skills in SAP HANA Data Warehousing
