Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of data solutions to support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics, incorporating AI-driven techniques where applicable
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into structured analytical approaches, datasets, and actionable insights
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, evaluate emerging trends, and drive continuous innovation
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues, determining root causes and recommending solutions
- Design and maintain data models, mappings, and transformation logic to standardize and integrate disparate datasets, particularly within healthcare and insurance domains
- Support the adoption of advanced analytics and AI capabilities (including LLM-assisted workflows) to improve data processing, reporting efficiency, and decision-making with an emphasis on responsible use of AI
- Build and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations, data governance standards, and responsible AI practices
- Provide subject-matter expertise in healthcare and claims data, supporting issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and mentorship of junior analysts
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience of additional 4+ years in lieu of degree
- 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence
- 2+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
- 2+ years of experience working with healthcare or medical claims data
- 1+ years of experience designing data models, mappings, and transformation logic for complex datasets
- Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience leveraging AI-driven analytics, LLMs, or machine learning techniques in data processing and reporting workflows
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, data governance standards, and responsible AI frameworks
- Experience mentoring team members and contributing to best practices in an Agile environment
