Middle/Senior Level Data engineer

We are looking for a Middle/Senior Level Data Engineer to design, build, and operate end-to-end data solutions for a retail client in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data into the enterprise platform.

Drive automation to eliminate manual intervention and enforce rigorous data quality standards.

Ensure technical solutions align with enterprise architecture while leveraging new Snowflake and AWS capabilities.

Implement metadata management, data lineage tracking, and role-based access controls.

Must-Have Qualifications

【求められる経験・スキル / required experience and skills】

5+years of experience with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end data platform delivery.

Advanced expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, clustering, and dynamic tables.

Hands-on experience with core AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, etc.) and Terraform.

Proficiency in enterprise ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Matillion, dbt, AWS Glue) and dimensional modeling.

Bonus Points

Familiarity with orchestration tools (like Apache Airflow) and data catalog tools (Atlan, Collibra).

Japanese reading skills to help validate data from local internal systems.
