■ Summary
The company scales its business using a multi-product strategy, delivering a wide range of platforms to the market, including accounting and HR/labor management solutions. In this role, the candidate will develop and operate a data platform that supports diverse data users across the organization, including product development, sales, marketing, analysts, and AI engineers.
Having multiple touchpoints with customers through various products creates immense data utilization needs. The company must support use cases ranging from analytics to sales, marketing, AI implementation, and the development of data products. However, the platform required to unlock this full potential has not yet been fully established. While there is a massive internal demand and high potential to deliver fresh value to clients, it remains a heavily underutilized opportunity.
This position serves as the absolute baseline for data utilization, tasking the candidate with the development and operation of the data platform and data integration systems. Beyond stably integrating this platform as core business infrastructure, the role requires enabling data users to utilize data confidently while maintaining a high standard of security. Data engineers here carry the pride of maintaining and elevating business infrastructure while continuously reaching for greater technological heights.

Historically, the company's data utilization focused primarily on data analysis. However, with the rise of Generative AI and other technological shifts, the demand for leveraging data as a core resource has become increasingly diversified and complex.
Furthermore, driven by the multi-product strategy, the company now interacts with customers through numerous distinct applications. This has triggered a critical need to cross-reference and utilize data seamlessly across different product lines.
The current data infrastructure has struggled to keep pace with these evolving demands. In response, the organization has identified a hub-and-spoke Data Mesh architecture as the ideal approach and is actively building out and launching this new platform.
■Responsibilities
Data Platform Engineers serve as the foundational bedrock for all specialized data roles, covering a diverse operational scope. While the company continuously evaluates the optimization and specialization of roles based on organizational growth and shifting demand, the current core responsibilities are as follows:
Development of Data Integration Functions
Development of data integration functions for databases and logs in microservices
Development of data integration functions for SaaS and external data sources used for business and internal purposes
ETL processing for data cleansing and pseudonymization
Operation of the data platform
Governance management of cloud infrastructure
Management and optimization of data infrastructure costs
Development and operation of basic infrastructure and applications, such as BI tools
Exploration of data utilization
Validation and development of data utilization applications for customers

【MUST】
Technical & Development Experience
2+ years of experience in application development using Python
2+ years of practical experience utilizing SQL in a professional environment
Proven experience designing and operating data warehouses (DWH) and analytics environments
Hands-on experience developing systems that integrate multiple disparate data sources, including external services and SaaS APIs
Mindset & Soft Skills
Ability to clearly define issues and hypotheses, driving deliverables even in highly uncertain projects by maintaining proactive communication inside and outside the team
Strong aptitude for balancing abstract concepts with concrete execution, with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation for development projects
【WANT】
Technical & Development Experience
Hands-on development and operational experience with cloud-native data warehouses (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
Proven track record of launching a 0-to-1 data utilization project.
Experience in product management or a similar capacity, where the candidate prioritized feature development by identifying customers' latent and explicit needs.
Web application development experience.
Experience developing production-grade API endpoints.
Mindset & Soft Skills
Experience launching and managing an organization or team.
Proven experience in mentoring and people management—such as understanding members' skill sets and growth aspirations to align them with the right project assignments and provide actionable career guidance.
Experience formulating 1-to-2 year forward-looking strategies in a specific technical domain, aligning with executive management (or equivalent layers), and translating those high-level discussions into an actionable execution plan.
Experience defining and verbalizing existing bottlenecks within a specific domain to design and stand up a fresh architecture entirely from scratch.
