- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
4-6 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Strimzi, Kafka Connect API, and KRaft.
- 4-6 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jinja SQL and dbt.
- Expertise in GCP, particularly BigQuery and Cloud Functions, with strong Python skills.
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling, including Kimball methodology.
- Experience with GitHub CI/CD and Terraform.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Good knowledge of Linux, including WSL.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
- Experience with Helm, Terraform, and DevOps automation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
- Experience with GCP Dataflow, Cloud Run Services/Jobs, and Cloud Build.
- Experience with Google Looker and semantic data modeling.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization.
- Knowledge of data-driven engineering and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Fluent Bit, and/or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong platform-level expertise in Apache Kafka, including cluster management, performance, security, and reliability.
- Experience with HiveMQ is an advantage.
- Knowledge of APIM platforms is desirable.
- Experience developing AI agents, including frameworks/protocols such as A2A.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
- Experience working within an Integration/Platform Engineering department in a large enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of semantic modeling and enterprise data platforms.
- Business-oriented, responsible, and comfortable balancing technical details with a broader architectural perspective.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passionate about data-driven development and able to coach and inspire others.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proactive, humble, and comfortable taking operational ownership and responsibility.
- Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.
