Secret Data Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Secret Senior Data Engineer to support a large federal client in North Charleston, SC. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions, including ETL processes, data pipelines, triggers, historical data structures, repositories, and overall data architecture. Working closely with a Data Lead who gathers business requirements and interfaces with stakeholders, you'll translate business needs into robust technical solutions while leading development efforts across the team. This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on building and optimizing large-scale data platforms in an Agile environment. We're looking for a technical leader who enjoys solving complex data challenges, mentoring team members, and actively contributing to backend development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Physics, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering
• Hands-on experience building ETL processes, data pipelines, triggers, historical tables, and data repositories
• Active DoD clearance
• Willingness to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire
