About the Role

Do you enjoy designing data platforms that are actually used, and doing it together with a team that is passionate about AI?

As a Senior Data Engineer at Codon, you will work in close collaboration with both colleagues and clients, and help shape how data engineering evolves at a company with deep AI/ML expertise.

Technical Profile

• Design and build modern data platforms in close dialogue with clients and the team.
• Work end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through to production and ongoing development.
• Help shape how Codon approaches data engineering — not just follow ready-made solutions.
• Collaborate with AI/ML colleagues to ensure that data and models fit together.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs in a way that works for different audiences.

Who You Are

We believe that you have:

• Solid experience of data engineering in production environments.
• Strong command of Python and SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, and Azure-based data platforms.
• Comfortable in a consulting role and quick to find your footing in new contexts.
• Clear communicator who collaborates naturally with both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ability to commute to the job location
• Willingness to accept a background check
• 5+ years of work experience with Big Data, Data Engineering
• 5+ years of work experience with Python, SQL
• 5+ years of work experience with ETL, ELT pipelines
• Authorised to work in Sweden
