Hi,
I’m hiring for a Fortune 300 food & beverage manufacturing company with multiple locations. Please apply only if you are local to or willing to relocate to one of the following locations:
Role: Sr. Data Platform Engineer
Locations: Austin, MN | Chicago, IL | Des Moines, IA
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire + Relocation Assistance + Health Insurance + Bonus + Other Benefits
- Data Platform: Own the roadmap, adoption, lifecycle, and continuous improvement of enterprise data ingestion, orchestration, analytics tools, including a custom Python-based ingestion framework.
- Platform Engineering & DevOps: Build and improve CI/CD, deployment automation, SDLC standards, source control, reusable frameworks, self-service tooling, and developer productivity.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Governance, and Analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and observable data-platform capabilities.
- Experience across data platforms, cloud, DevOps, ingestion/orchestration, or engineering platforms, with strong Python/SQL/scripting and platform-roadmap experience. GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, GKE, Cloud Build, etc.) is preferred, not required.
