Working across APIs, integration platforms, automation and data, you’ll connect business systems, streamline processes and deliver practical solutions that improve operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, vendors and application owners to develop robust, maintainable solutions. This is primarily an integration role, rather than a dedicated data engineering or analytics position.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, test and support integrations across SaaS, enterprise and cloud platforms.
- Build API, webhook, event-driven, scheduled and file-based integrations.
- Develop data mappings, transformations, validation and reconciliation processes.
- Produce integration designs, interface specifications, diagrams and support documentation.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, retry and failure-management processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis and coordinate with vendors.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and develop reusable integration patterns.
- Contribute to integration standards, governance and architectural decisions.
- Proven experience designing and implementing business system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication and integration patterns.
- Experience with SaaS, enterprise applications, cloud services and an integration/middleware platform.
- Ability to define mappings, validation, error handling and interface requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, vendors, networks and authentication.
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational data and data transformation.
- Experience with development, testing, source control and release practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on reliability, security and supportability.
- REST APIs, JSON, XML, webhooks and file-based integration.
- OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, service principals, managed identities and certificates.
- Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Azure Integration Services, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato or similar.
- Messaging, event-driven architectures and API management.
- SQL, data mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
- ETL/ELT and data pipeline technologies.
- .NET, Node.js, Python, PowerShell or similar.
- Git, CI/CD and automated deployment.
- Logging, monitoring and operational support.
- Microsoft Azure, Power Platform and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
Desirable
- Experience integrating CRM, ERP, finance, HR, field service or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Azure and Power Platform integration experience.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, analytics or data platforms.
- Experience working with vendors and third-party partners.
- Backend development or scripting skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy or regulated environments.
- Experience in large, distributed or multi-system environments.
- Experience developing reusable integration standards or shared services.
