Forward Deployed Engineer – Industrial AI

The mandate

Embed with mining and energy clients to deploy AI and analytics solutions for operations, maintenance and safety.

This is a customer vacancy managed through Balncs. The successful candidate will work close to customer teams while maintaining strong production-engineering standards and a clear feedback path into the underlying platform.

What you will own

• Discover the operational problem and translate it into an executable technical scope.
• Build, integrate and stabilise production capability in the customer environment.
• Coordinate decisions across users, engineering, product and delivery stakeholders.
• Capture repeated field patterns that can improve the platform, tooling or delivery playbook.

Evidence we are looking for

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience
• Familiarity with OT or industrial systems
• Cloud data-platform experience
• Comfort working on remote sites
