The internship assignment

Data is what enables Tesla to gain traceability for its manufactured products.In this role you willhelp shaping data into insightsbycreating data visualizations on internal platforms for internal stakeholders.In addition, you willvalidate data correctness by verifying the reported numberscompared to the physical state of the manufacturing line.Thisroleis focused on implementing data visualization projects which requires a person with a technical background.This role is reporting to a senior engineer.

What You'll Do

Create new data visualizations oninternalplatforms for stakeholders.

Validate datacorrectness byworking together with the involved stakeholders.

Database Management: Help organize data warehouses, write efficient SQL queries, and update data models.

Monitoring & Testing: Check daily data jobs for errors, investigate failed logs, and run basic performance tests.

Documentation: Write technical documentation for data schemas, data dictionaries, and pipeline processes.

What You'll Bring

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Technology & Management, Operations, or a related field.

Able to work in afast-pacedenvironment andtoadjust quickly when requirements change.

Prioritize the right task at the right time and to handle multiple responsibilitiesin parallel.

Basic knowledge of Python,SQL, JSON, YAML, ability to read code.

Solid knowledge ofhow to plot data using Python.

Full working proficiency in English.

Knowledge of Ignition /APIs /Kafka / Redis / Splunk/ Docker / Kubernetes / Prometheus / Grafana/ Jira / Confluenceor similar toolsis a plus.

Independent and pro-active work style.

Full working proficiency inGerman is a plus.
