Administrative Assistant

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Location: Onsite in Tigard, OR

Compensation: $25.00 – $27.50/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time


Position Overview

LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic team focused on community engagement initiatives. This role will serve as a central hub of coordination, providing critical administrative and operational support across multiple programs that directly impact the community’s connection to the organization.


The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and brings strong communication and organizational skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for public-facing events, including community programs, outreach initiatives, and special events
  • Manage and maintain databases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Prepare and format promotional materials, presentations, and supporting documentation
  • Edit and distribute internal and external communications, ensuring clarity and consistency
  • Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and procurement processes
  • Support development of newsletters, internal briefings, and other communications
  • Contribute to social media content and digital engagement efforts
  • Track and order materials needed for events and outreach programs
  • Serve as a liaison across internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution
  • Provide general administrative support to support day-to-day operations


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting events, communications, or marketing initiatives is a plus
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
